About Lessons

First and foremost, I love teaching. That is the foundation of everything I do.

My goal is to help each student develop healthy, reliable technique from the very beginning so they can feel confident with the instrument and reach their full potential. I’m very detail-oriented in lessons, and I believe in giving clear explanations and practical examples so students understand not only what to do, but why.

The repertoire we work on always depends on each student’s age, experience, interests, and goals.

For beginning students, we build a strong technical foundation through exercises, simple songs, and step-by-step learning. As students become more comfortable with the violin, lessons can go in many directions depending on what inspires them.

Some students enjoy focusing on classical violin repertoire, while others may want to explore fiddle tunes, favorite songs, or a combination of styles. I’m very open to shaping lessons around what feels meaningful and motivating for each student.

It’s important to me that students feel fulfilled artistically, continue growing musically, and genuinely enjoy the process of learning the violin.
